Employee story video: when it fits.

Employee stories show what is valued inside a company. They are most believable when people choose what to say and how they appear.

We interview, edit and let the person approve the result.

Typical uses

  • A story about a colleague's career path
  • Someone who solved a hard problem
  • A volunteer or community project
  • A story from a site or region head office rarely hears

What shapes the result.

  • ChoiceThe person chooses to take part and approves the final cut.
  • InterviewAn open conversation, not a script.
  • EditThe story is shaped, but not polished until it loses its voice.
  • RightsPermission is written, including where and for how long the film is used.

Questions

Before you get in touch.

Do employees need training to be on camera?

No. We make it a conversation and give them a chance to retake.

Can stories be audio only?

Yes. Audio is easier for many people and works well in a private feed.

Can you use the film outside?

Only with the person's written permission for each use.

What’s your next message?

Tell us who it’s for, what you need to communicate and when you need it. We’ll come back with the approach and the scope.
